Day 1 - Vilnius
Arrival to Vilnius - Transfer to the hotel - Overnight.
Day 2 - Vilnius - Trakai - Vilnius
Breakfast and sightseeing tour in Vilnius which as the European Capital of Culture 2009 a highlight of the European cultural map. has become
In the afternoon - departure to Trakai. Visit the medieval castle, which is build in the strait between two lakes.
Overnight in Vilnius.
Day 3 - Vilnius - Grutas - Kaunas
Departure to Grutas Soviet Sculptures Park where the monuments from Soviet Lithuania are collected and exhibited in an open air museum.
Next stop – Druskininkai - a Lithuanian health resort, famous as a mineral water source and homeland of talented Lithuanian artist M.K.Ciurlionis.
Continue to Kaunas, overnight.
Day 4 - Kaunas - Curonian Spit - Klaipeda
In the morning - city tour in Kaunas, the second-large city of Lithuania. In the prewar times Kaunas was a provisional capital of Lithuania for 20 years.
Departure to the National Park of the Curonian Spit which is included on UNESCO World Heritage List. It is an outstanding example of a landscape of sand dunes that is under constant threat from natural forces (wind and tide).
Back to Klaipeda, an important port, Lithuania’s only gateway to the Baltic Sea.
Overnight in Klaipeda.
Day 5 - Klaipeda - Palanga - Siauliai
After breakfast - sightseeing in Klaipeda including Old Post Office, historical Old Town full of handicraft shops, the Old Theater square with the Simon Dach Fountain.
Departure to Palanga in the afternoon - the most popular and developed sea resort in Lithuania.
Visit the famous Botanical Garden and the Amber Museum situated at the Palace of Count Tyszkewicz.
Departure to Siauliai, overnight.
Day 6 - Siauliai - Rumsiskes - Vilnius
Siauliai sightseeing in the morning.
Trip to the Hill of Crosses - unique expression of religious feelings of Lithuanian people.
Drive to Vilnius with a stopover in Rumsiskes, Ethnographic Open Air Museum. The territory of 175 ha includes 140 original well preserved buildings dated from the 18th - 20th centuries, collected from various ethnographic regions of Lithuania.
Arrival and overnight in Vilnius.
Day 7 - Vilnius
Free morning to enjoy Vilnius’s spirit - Transfer to the airport.
